Pink Carnations: Color inspiration

It happens to everyone as they grow up. You find out who you are and what you want, and then you realize that people you’ve known forever don’t see things the way you do. So you keep the wonderful memories, but find yourself moving on.

Pink Carnations: I know. Losing an hour of sleep can be tough on you. For me, I’m not bothered by it because it’s an extra hour of daylight! To cheer you up and add a little fun to your Monday, here’s a gorgeous and bright look from Annabelle over at VIVALUXURY!

Pink Carnations: Considering the fact that the nation is going through a tough, can’t-make-up-its-mind-winter, I have decided to continue to share bright looks until Spring can’t stand it anymore and finally gives us all the sunshine and color that we all desperately desire. Today’s bright look is from Kat Tanita, blogger of With Love From Kat!

Pink Carnations: With the cold weather crushing down on to my sunny outlook lately, I didn’t know if I could make it through this winter much longer, until I saw Rach Parcell’s GORGEOUS beach look! Gee, I’m so looking forward to Spring and Summer! Keep an eye out for more brighter posts coming up! XO

Pink Carnations: Shopping for warmer clothes for my trip to Chicago couldn’t be easier thanks to Emily of The Sweetest Thing! Love this winter look she styled this past week and that buffalo checked scarf is actually from the men’s department at Gap! I think I’ll start shopping in men’s to look for hidden treasures for my wardrobe!

Pink Carnations: I nearly gasped when I saw this holiday look from Caitlin a few days ago. Sequins, glitter, red, tulle does put one in a fantastic Christmas mood!

P.S. Sorry for the lack of posts lately! So much has been going on, but I promise that I’m back now with the exception of a few weeks in January. :)

Pink Carnations: This Halloween outfit is quite possibly the most creative one I’ve seen yet that just uses clothes from your own closet. Who would ever think to be a gorgeous vogue villian? SWOON.

Pink Carnations: Bordeaux has never looked so good and Wendy made it look even better with rose gold accents! Drool.

Pink Carnations: Emily Jackson of Ivory Lane couldn’t look any more sophisticated in this Red Valentino jacket and classic A.L.C. dress!

Pink Carnations: Lindsey of Saucy Glossie was the very first fashion blogger I ever followed and I’m pretty sure with this bordeaux look, you can see why!

Pink Carnations: Kimberly of Penny Pincher Fashion takes classy to a whole other level in this oxblood Mossimo skirt

Pink Carnations: STILL hot here in Texas so everything is crispy, haha! But seriously, when is my cold weather coming?

Pink Carnations: Continuing on with my fave autumn color, Wendy Nguyen, blogger of Wendy’s Lookbook, rocks bordeaux with this gorgeous Valentino Red jacket.

Pink Carnations: Who other than Courtney Kerr of What Courtney Wore can rock a Herve Leger banded dress? What a stunning and classic look!
